As we faced the 10th anniversary of 9/11 today there are some questions we should consider. One being...
Are we Ready??
Are we ready to meet God? This is a question worth asking ourselves. As devastating as the attacks on 9/11 and Pearl Harbor were, when God returns, it will not even compare to the way those events shook this world. It is going to be so dramatic and powerful that people are not going to believe their eyes. People will be taken from cars...airplanes...homes...business...streets....people everywhere were will gone in a flash. So....Are you ready...are you going to be one of the ones that are taken up when Jesus returns?
If you live for the world...you will get a belly full of this world after he returns, if you aren't ready to meet Jesus. And if He doesn't come back before you die...are you ready to meet Jesus? This life is but a vapor and it will fade just as quickly as it began.
I urge you to be Ready!!

The New Beginning...
Hello all,
Here I am again...starting a new blog. :) I decided to start over and just make a new one. So here it is... Surrendered and Free!!
I am surrendered to the will of God for my life and I free from anything holding me back from serving Him and loving Him to my fullest. So that is where I came up with the name. :)
I am just going to share a little of what has been going on lately in my life.
I have been blessed to walk daily in God's grace and provisions as He directs each step for my life. I am at a place in my life where I don't see what the future holds. Here I am, almost 22 years old, and I still don't know what God is going to do with my life...even in the next couple months. I am walking daily with the knowledge that He will guide me every day to do what He wants me to do, as long as I do what He asks of me....and that is Read, Meditate, Study, and spend time with Him in His word and in Prayer and walk closely to Him. I have no worries about what the future may hold...only Joy in knowing He will use me and guide me!!
I am currently planning to go to Kenya next summer and serve that children and people there on a missions trip! I am so completely excited and can't wait to see how God works everything out.
It is going to be awesome!!
Anyways..I will be sure to keep ya'll updated on that plan as things progress! :)
Some things that God has been teaching me lately come from not only my Bible reading but from the Pastor at the church I attend. He is such a man of God and I am so thankful for HIm. I am hoping that when we move we are able to find a man that preaches like He does. Yesterday He spoke about being "marked" by Jesus Christ. How that everyone that comes in contact with us should know that we are Christians without us having to even tell Him. He used Paul as the example when he said in Galatians 6:17 "From henceforth let no man trouble me: for I bear in my body the marks of the Lord Jesus."He was telling them to look at Him...he has physical marks all over his body as a result of serving Christ and being bold about the Gospel. He was beaten so many times for the sake of Christ. People knew without even looking at Him that He was a Christ follower. That is how we are to be. Now, in today's day, in the United States, we don't have to worry about being physically attacking us for sharing the Gospel. We have, at least right now, to freedom to share the Gospel with whoever we please, without fear of persecution. So we aren't going to physically bear marks from sharing the gospel. But we should have a testimony and reputation that we are marked or branded with that Christ is who we live for!
That was powerful to me and was a reminder that Jesus is the only thing worth living for and the only thing that matters!!
And this is what I read this morning...love it!
"Therefore let no man glory in men. For all things are yours; Whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come; all are yours; And ye are Christ's; and Christ is God's." 1 Corinthians 3:21-23
EVERYTHING is GODS!! :)
So that is an update of what's going on with me and what God is showing me! The next posts won't be quite as long. :)
